AN ART DECO INSPIRATION

The inspiration for this brooch comes from the natural beauty of fruit, featuring two meticulously carved figs and etched leaves. The design is inspired by Art Deco, a 1920s art movement that favored geometric shapes, clean lines, and refined details.

HANDMADE DYES FOR A UNIQUE RESULT

The figs on the brooch are painted with handcrafted dyes made in our workshop. These handmade dyes allow for vibrant, natural colors. The shades of purple and green in the figs may vary slightly from piece to piece, making each brooch unique.

The Legend of the Enchanted Figs

Once upon a time, hidden in a secret garden, there was an extraordinary fig tree. Its branches stretched out under the sun, its large, deep green leaves whispered in the wind, and its fruits, as beautiful as they were mysterious, came in two colors: an intense purple, like summer twilight, and a bright green, fresh as a spring morning.

According to legend, this fig tree was planted by a nature fairy. By offering its fruits of rare beauty, she wanted to remind men of the perfect balance between the generosity of the earth and the vitality of life. Purple represented abundance and mystery, while green symbolized energy and renewal.

One day, a young craftswoman in search of inspiration entered this forgotten garden. Amazed by the perfection of the figs and the softness of their colors, she decided to capture their essence in unique creations. Back in her workshop, she passionately shaped original brooches, sculpted and hand-painted to reproduce every detail of the purple and green figs.

Thus were born the original Figue brooches, true fragments of this enchanted garden. Their refined design and vibrant colors seem to tell a story: that of a thousand-year-old fruit, symbol of abundance and simplicity, reinterpreted with love and know-how.
