Orders : From Wednesday 11 October 2023 to Wednesday 25 October 2023.
Start of production : Wednesday 25th October.
Shipment of orders : From 25 October to 1 November.
Please note: If your order includes several items of jewellery, your entire order will be dispatched by Wednesday, 1 November at the latest.
HOW DOES THE PRE-ORDER WORK?
On your side, everything happens like a classic order: you choose your pair of earrings, your delivery method, then you validate your order. The difference lies in the fact that you will get a 10% discount on your jewellery, and in the way we process your order. Rather than making your jewellery to order, we group together all the orders for the same piece of jewellery in one go.
What is the purpose of the pre-order?
When you purchase a piece of Cilea jewelry, it will be made on demand after your order has been confirmed. If you order an orange Anemone brooch on Monday, we will make it on Tuesday. If a second person orders the same orange Anemone brooch on Thursday, we will start the whole manufacturing process again for that same brooch on Friday.
With a pre-order system, we group all the Orange Anemone brooches ordered in a given period so that they can be made at the same time.
As you may have guessed, this allows us to optimize the manufacturing of your jewelry.
The manufacturing time required for each piece of jewelry is slightly reduced thanks to a better anticipation of the jewelry to be manufactured, which allows us to slightly reduce the final price. For example, instead of searching for, preparing and storing tools each time an orange Anemone brooch is ordered, we only handle them once for several pieces of jewelry at the same time. This storage step alone saves us a few minutes per piece of jewelry.
We also achieve a reduction in waste through improved materials management. This reduction in waste is also made possible by better anticipation of the jewelry to be made. Indeed, by grouping all the jewels to be produced at once, we can better organize the preparations upstream and avoid material losses.
